What the lead technician role involves

Breathewell’s lead technicians coordinate system-specific Dust Extraction appointments in customers’ homes across the West Island, Vaudreuil-Dorion and nearby Greater Montreal communities. Each visit begins by confirming the booked system, access points, property conditions and service scope discussed with the customer.

Before extraction starts, the lead technician prepares the work area, protects nearby surfaces and confirms which HVAC or ventilation components are accessible. During service, the technician follows documented equipment procedures, keeps assistant technicians aligned with the confirmed scope and records observations or access limits.

After the work, the lead technician checks restored access points, documents the completed service and explains relevant observations without promising health, remediation, repair or energy-performance outcomes. Requests outside Breathewell’s Dust Extraction scope are identified and directed to the appropriate trade or specialist.

The role suits someone who communicates clearly, works carefully in occupied homes and can make practical decisions while following established procedures. Attention to preparation, documentation, customer property and scope control is as important as hands-on technical ability.
